  1. Hello,

I transferred from Employment Development Department which was represented by Local 1000 to Department of Social Services which Local 2620 represents. I started with DSS on 04/01/21. Will the new contact affect me too? Because I just got my paycheck for the month of July 2021 and I only see the 9.23% reduction back to my pay but I don’t see the 5.06% that was ratified in the new contract.

    Thank you

    Luis Mora

    1. Hi, Luis, thank you so much for sharing your concern. Yes, the GSI will be applied to everyone in BU19. We did not see it in our most recent paycheck because the ratification vote was late in the month and the State was not able to process it in time for our most recent paycheck. It will be applied retroactively in future paychecks.
