IMPORTANT: Information regarding RT vote!

The RT Task Force Focused Outreach Committee has set tomorrow, October 17, as the official date that the ballots will be mailed for the upcoming vote on the hourly vs. salary status. Please allow time for the ballots to be received prior to requesting a duplicate ballot.
The deadline for requesting duplicate ballots is October 27 at 4:00 P.M. To request a duplicate ballot, members will need to send an e-mail to elections@afscmelocal2620.org. The e-mail must contain the member’s legal first and last name (no nicknames) and the last four digits of their social security number.
Ballots are due at the Burbank office by 4:00 P.M. on November 9. The counting of the ballots will be conducted at 9:00 A.M. on November 10.
Ballots will be mailed to members only. To update your membership status and contact information, click this link.
New membership cards must be received by 4:00 P.M. on October 25 in order to be eligible to vote and to ensure that a ballot can be received in a timely manner.
In the spirit of transparency, observers are welcome when the ballots are counted. Please note that election rules state that observers must be Union Members, not Fair Share payers. Also, the Union will not reimburse any cost for time or travel; participation as an observer is strictly voluntary. If you would like to observe the count, please notify the Elections Committee by November 7 so that your membership status may be verified and to ensure that you have all necessary information.
Please note that all observers will be asked to verify their identities with a photo identification, which should match the name provided in your e-mail. If your membership status cannot be verified and/or if your identity cannot be verified, you may be denied the right to observe.
Please direct all elections-related questions, comments, concerns or request to be an observer to the Elections Committee at elections@afscmelocal2620.org.
